"Plus nous nous approchons
de ceux à qui nous devons une grande partie
de nous-mêmes, plus la fierté grandit en
nos coeurs."
Père Léo-Paul
Pigeon, omi
Translation: The more we approach those
to whom we owe most of our selves, the more pride grows in our hearts.
Preface
The goal of the site is to share genealogical
information gathered by the children of Elzéar Pigeon, that
is to say Léo-Paul, Jean-Charles, Béatrice and her husband
Angus McKenzie. Please re-examine the provided data and inform us of
any inaccuracy. Please provide us with any additional information. The
form in Contact us can be used as a guide.
There are two big divisions of our family
genealogy: the ancestors and the descendants of the two families of Elzéar Pigeon.
The opening page
A drawing of the house of Elzéar's
two families is the work of Denise Pigeon, daughter of Jean-Charles and
Marie-Ange Pigeon, therefore Elzéar's grand-daughter. The
house is still there at the corner of Garnish and Dominion street in Alexandria,
Ontario.
This site is the work of France Gignac, great-grand-daughter
of Elzéar Pigeon, in collaboration with her beloved great-uncle,
Father Léo-Paul Pigeon.
